James Coleman

James was born in good ol' Salt Lake City, Utah. His father was an artist, and his mother was a semiconductor engineer. Through his unique upbringing, James grew a passion to help people, and to solve problems. James dabbled in writing music while working as an engineering technician, but it didn't scratch his "itch". In 2013, James began his career as a mortgage loan officer at RANLife Home Loans. He is very passionate about what he does. He gets fulfillment out of educating homeowners, solving problems, and helping people achieve the American Dream of owning a home. James and his wife dreamed of one day raising their daughter in Oregon which is where they call home.

Kathryn Patterson

"Kathryn started her career with RANLife in 2022 - after purchasing her first home in 2021 and realizing the passion she had for this industry! Kathryn is attentive, communicative, friendly and loves problem solving. Since she knows what it's like to purchase a home, she will do what it takes to facilitate an easy and enjoyable process for everyone involved! Her attentivity and excellent communication skills ensure that her clients are handled with care from start to finish. Kathryn thrives when helping others, and loves connecting with new people. When clients work with Kathryn, they have a dedicated Loan Officer and friend by their side as they take the exhilarating steps towards homeownership!

Sean Ochoa

Sean was born in Alaska, raised in Southern California, and has lived as an adult in Washington and Oregon; a true West Coast guy! He has called Portland home for the past few years and loves most of the weather and people. Sean is a graduate of Oregon State University and acknowledges that that school is in every way, shape, and form far superior to its rival University of Oregon. Sean started originating home loans in 2006 to help clients achieve the American Dream of homeownership. He enjoys working with first-time homebuyers and watching their journey from being hesitant about even qualifying for a loan to experiencing pure joy as they receive the keys to their first home.

Heather Binau

Northwest local from Washington state. For my schooling, I earned a Bachelor's of Science in Biology and a Masters of Business in Management. I have a diverse work history background in emergency medicine, firefighting, bookkeeping, and construction management. My deepest passion is helping people! I find that being a loan officer allows me to help others in one of the best ways... finding a home! I will do everything possible to help find yours today!
